Here's your chance to 'show' your horse without the hassles of getting everything ready. Plus, it is a whole lot easier on the pocketbook! A select panel of judges will place each class. The show is open to all Sundance members and you may enter as many times as you want. Entries should be sharp, clear and contrasting with no clutter to reproduce well. Photos will not be judged on technical photography, but on the "feel" of the photo in relation to the class entered. This show is fun and you need not groom your Appaloosas. Enjoy thumbing through your photo albums and have fun taking those snapshots. Send in your very best and you may have a winner!

Photos must be taken by the entrant or a friend if the entrant is part of the picture -- no professional show shots please!  Past winning photos can not be entered again.
Photos can be recent or taken a few years ago.

FUNTIME: A fun class, this one should tickle our funny bone or give you a big country smile. So let your imagination run wild. Appaloosas, after all, are real comedians. Make your judges laugh.

AT WORK: Appaloosas do work, don't they? Your entry needs to display your Appaloosa's willingness to work. Whether in the arena, trotting down the trail or executing intricate dressage patterns, judges will be looking for style, personality, presentation and the willingness of spirit that is the Appaloosa.

AT LIBERTY: Appaloosa just being themselves, frolicking and playing in pastures, fields or anywhere in open surroundings. They should show the Sundance spirit - the spirit of the Appaloosa!

FRIENDS: Always a popular class, send in your entries of your Appaloosa(s) with their friends, who can be two-legged, four legged or ? The judges will look for relationship, appeal and interest. That's what friends are for!

MODELING: The Appaloosa is an unique breed. Capture your spotted beauty in a model pose whether standing at halter or trotting. Each will be judged 30% on coat pattern, 30% on conformation, 30% for style, and 10% for displaying that Appaloosa look. Horses can be shown with or without halters -- no other tack. Only one entry per Appaloosa will be accepted.

MOTHERHOOD: Nothing captures the heart better than an Appaloosa mare and foal. Their relationship is special. Capture that feeling in your entry.

HEAD SHOTS: For this category you need to capture your Appaloosas head only.  Catch the expression of love, friendship, respect, etc. that your Appaloosa has for you.

Fee: $3.00 per entry per class
